  When you see 20 lads in Cartier livery on Orchard road, you know you’re in for something special. After months of planning and anticipation, Cartier finally threw open the doors of its ION boutique 21st July, 2009. 
  
  While we covered the details of the boutique itself in another article, this time we felt we should pay attention to the glamour of the opening itself. Cartier events always have a great deal of pomp and circumstance and the opening of the two-storey ION boutique did not disappoint in this regard. 
  
  East and West came together as Hollywood actor and director Billy Zane was joined by Hong Kong actor and director Stephen Fung and Singapore star Zoe Tay to do the honors at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Christopher Kilaniotis, Managing Director of Cartier Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia & Australia, was in good form as the conductor of this concerto of glitz. 
  
  As an aside, those lucky enough to be at the event might have noticed the Cartier Santos 100 Flying Tourbillon peeking out from under Zane’s sleeve and a Cartier Panthere lapel pin and matching cufflinks completing Fung’s look for the evening.   Cartier新店开幕 红星助阵 22 July 2009  卓燕翎 采访 郑怡萱/周佩颖 拍摄/剪辑   国际时尚名牌Cartier位于ION Orchard的新店昨晚开幕，邀请了海内外明星助阵。开幕嘉宾就有新传媒阿姐郑惠玉、香港艺人兼导演冯德伦，以及曾参演电影《铁达尼号》的好莱坞影星Billy Zane。  开幕礼还未开始前，现场已经吸引了不少好奇的观众围观，约晚上8点，当本地一姐郑惠玉步上红地毯时，更是引起一阵骚动，在场的媒体和公众都忙着拍照。阿姐也非常亲民，曾几次停下脚步给公众拍照。  随即，冯德伦也出现在红地毯上，一路脸带微笑的他，露出招牌酒窝，迷倒了不少现场的女粉丝和女性嘉宾，更是成为女嘉宾要求合影的热门对象。 郑惠玉和冯德伦之后与Billy Zane连同Cartier的高层为新店剪彩。其余出席者还包括本地艺人傅芳玲、在香港发展的狮城女星黃婉君和本地著名的时尚界人士等。 "I'm Billy Zane, pleasure to meet you Rosanne...."  My heart was pumping hard wahahaha  [Rosanne Says "Hi"] snapshot    [Rosanne Says "Hi"] snapshot [News]Aug 18th, 09 Cartier ION opens in Singapore SOURCE: MSN Malaysia Life & Style  Deborah Lee, Updated: Tue, 18 Aug 2009 10:54:45 GMT Cartier ION opens in Singapore Cartier ION Orchard boutique opens with red carpet glamour and celebrities like Billy Zane, Stephen Fung and Zoey Tay were present at the unveiling of the new Cartier landmark. 21 July saw camera-ready crowds cluster around the red carpet to snap the arrivals of Billy Zane, Stephen Fung and Zoey Tay. The Cartier ION Boutique opened soon after the launch of the international Cartier watchmaking collection, which includes Santos 100 Flying Tourbillon. Among other prominent figures present were 2R's Rosanne Wong, author Jimmy Lie, fashion designer Irene Lim and photographer Emily Wang. The Cartier ION Boutique is located at 2 Orchard Turn, Unit 01-20 & 02-10 ION Orchard, Singapore.
